There has been some talk that the web is going 3.0. I don’t even know what any of that means. I am thinking that it is just a fancy way to talk about the growing social web. The internet is not about static html pages anymore. Things need to be interactive and social. That is why web sites like facebook and youtube are so popular. These sites let people share things with each other. Blogging is another major force for the web. That past few years has witnessed this type of web sites grow in record speed. A lot of big time bloggers make a lot of money from their blogs. Even i got into this mix. I set up a few blogs that bring in a lot of money.

Getting started with wordpress is a snap. All you need is your own unique domain name. A dot com is preferable, but any will do. Then, you can get yourself some web hosting. If you do not want to hassle with your own hosted blog yet, you can set one up for free at wordpress.com.

Many of you who are reading this blog are new to the blogging game. If you want to set up a blog, you have a lot of different options. You can either pay for a domain and hosting, or set up a free blog. I will cover three of the most popular blogging platforms that are free to use.

Blogger and blogspot are google’s blogging platforms. You can easily go to blogspot.com or blogger.com and create a free blog. Your blog will be at whatever.blogspot.com or whatever.blogger.com. Starting off with a free blog is your best bet. But, if you want to jump right in to your own hosted blog, you can do that as well. It isn’t that much harder and the money you spend will more then pay for itself.

Wordpress.com has a free blog service similar to blogspot. Just go to wordpress.com and set up your own account. I recommend that each and every blogger set up their own free blog. Even if you have your own hosted wordpress blog, it can be handy to set up your own free blog for link building. I will talk about this later.

There are essentially three ways in which you can use wordpress to build and maintain your blog. First, you can create a blog on the wordpress.com server. Secondly, you can install wordpress on your ips’s server. Lastly, you can install wordpress on your own server.

Creating a blog on the wordpress servier is the easiest way to get you blog up and running. It is quick and absolutely free. You will be able to take advantage of a lot of the features of wordpress, but you will be limited in the customization features for themes and plugins.

Installing a wordpress on your internet service provider’s server is you next options. I have never tried this, but you can use the space allowed by your isp to set up wordpress.

The last option is what i would recommend. Even if you are a complete noobie, you can easily install wordpress on your own server. You just need to get a web hosting account and domain name. You can take full control of your blog by doing this.

I want to start off with a few blog posts about wordpress. Wordpress is the blogging platform that is considered to be the most professional. It is great because it is free and very versitle. You can set up static pages as well as a blog with wordpress. There are a lot of free themes that you can install to you blog. If you are a beginner, you might find wordpress to be a bit more complicated then blogger or blogspot. But, you will quickly learn the benefits of using this blogging platform.

I wanted to introduce a few posts about the inner workings of wordpress. You do not have to be intimidated by the complexity of wordpress. In the beginning, you might find it to be difficult, but after a short while, you will find things to be really easy to do.

We are all lazy creatures. If you think about it, most of the things that we used to do is not automated. Even if we look back 50 years, our lives has become rather comfortable. We do not need to do a lot of things for grooming and or cleaning. We do not need to work the land or gather food. All we need to do is get comfortable with a job that pays us cash. If you want to do something, all you need to do is flash some money around.

I think that our habits have changed into lazy habits. Even with the work that i do online, i can see how lazy i have gotten. When i first started making money online, i used to work my butt off. I would be researching and studying new ways to make my web sites appear in search engines. I would spends endless hours on just my one web site. I would tweak and optimize my blog to show up in all of the major search engines. I do not do this anymore. I found tools that help me do this and this has made me lazy. Also, because i know how to make money online, i work less. I want to do more so that i can make more. I need to overcome my laziness.

I don’t know why but i am consumed with google PR. I know that a site can’t be measured by a number or rank, but i want pagerank so bad. This site that i found show potential for PR. It’s called PR365.org. It’s not a full functioning site yet, but give it some time. I think the blogger will put up some good content. The articles will be informative and show you how to maximize your google pr.
